These are boots that I bought when I was sixteen. I still love the beautiful leather and the feel of the shoes. When I pulled them out of the closet again I thought that the tight, heigth of the boots at the upper side of my calves looked vulgair. So it was time to restyle them. Thus I made ancle boots out of them by just cutting off the part above the ancle. I didn’t sew anything after cutting. This is because I prefer the look of unworked leather.
